I got to know this beautiful family and the end of last year when I photographed this gorgeous mum, awaiting her precious bundle, and then at the beginning of this year when their little girl had arrived.
Life felt a little overwhelming for them at the start and I visited them when she was well over a month already. However, that made no difference. These early months are all so precious and because of the style of my photography newborns do not have to be photographed exactly in the first two weeks after birth. Sometimes mums need a little longer to recover and that said, I never judge homes and will remove noise where necessary and I choose the perfect light-filled spaces for intimate, loving family images.
I feel so honored every time I am invited to photograph new born babies and into this special and intimate time in a family's life.
